Friendship

Often glamorized, often idealized, considered untouched from selfishness and malice. Is it really that much pure as people make it out to be? High-school buddies and their Facebook profiles always are a link away. Fellow gang-members are always in their rooms around the corner. But does being around all the time is a testimonial of their sincerity? To some people it may be obvious, as one of my 'friends' holds it, "we are just acquaintances, hanging around each other. taking help when needed, giving help when its not too much to do. but in the end, we are strangers."
But to some, it is still pure and still something that people are capable of.
true friendship, is it for real? or are we just strangers, killing time around each other and somehow getting along, avoiding inevitable conflicts for as long as we can.
The people you hang out with, how true are they to you?

To put it bluntly, I do not believe that such a thing exists. The inherent selfishness in a human being always plays a part in this social protocol called friendship. I do not blame anyone who is insincere in their friendship, if i did, i would be hating the whole world. what i do not like, is the ignorance of those who hold themselves higher than others and more capable of exhibiting this trait of unconditional love, yet are still unaware of their folly.

"Holier than Thou"

To those who think that they are/were true friends - how selfless have you been? how much have you given without being acknowledged? have you never held a grudge against your 'best friend'? how often have you placed their priorities before yours? how often have you had them what you wanted for yourself?

if you can answer these questions, without lying to your soul and come out unscathed, then congratulations, you are a part of some utopia that i may never know.

I hate Tests

Well, I am awake, yet again. But not for social reasons. I have a test. I don't think I hate the subject, any subject can be interesting as long as there is a scope of applying your brain, or finding something remarkable. It is the test itself that I hate. If I were ever made to face a situation where I would need to apply the concepts of any subject I am sure I won't be able to. Why? Because this system of Tests is spoon feeding.
The problem is almost solved, right in front of you. You are sitting and giving an examination on Probability. No wonder, the questions would be about that subject...duh..
My point is, when problems pop up in real life, there is no examination hall, there are no grades and there are no imposed time limits. And to top it all, there are no questions. There are problems, yes. But not questions. Questions are to be framed by us. And we have to decide if we succeeded or not. Is it an A? or a D?
I think that we should do away with the test system. Just let us face problems, we decide which subject are we being tested on.(Determining the subject could be part of the test itself)

I know. Yeah, it sure would make my life hell... but only for now. At least I would be sure of myself in my professional as well as personal life.

To Yawn Or Not To Yawn

I know its healthy to sleep early. But I won't. Nope.

Early to rise and early to bed
Makes a man healthy but socially dead.
